Since the beginning of the year, Anika Moeller has been leading the German sales team from Hamburg as General Manager Sales Germany. Anika Moeller has almost three decades of logistics experience and spent two thirds of her career with international freight forwarders in the USA. After completing her freight forwarding apprenticeship at a. hartrodt from 1995 to 1997, she is now excited about change management: "I want to create the basis for leading sales into the future in a targeted manner."

Responsibility for personnel: 36 employees at 11 locations

She is responsible for 36 employees, including 26 sales staff in field and office sales at 11 locations and 10 experts in 3 teams for Tender, Key Account and Trade Lane Management. Anika Moeller benefits from "many years of varied sales experience" in vertical markets such as fashion, FMCG, industry and high-tech. She wants to motivate her team and "take them along on the path to change".

Growth strategy: Putting family business on the map

Anika Moeller's growth strategy is to put a. hartrodt Germany on the map against major competitors: "So far, we have been underestimated, even though we have a super network and a strong sales force." She plans to strengthen her team with seven experts by the end of the year. The family business also offers clear customer benefits: "We are small enough to adapt individually, but large enough for scalable solutions." Anika Moeller has internalized the American "can-do attitude" from her time in Los Angeles, followed by Salt Lake City, San Francisco, Seattle and Chicago. She tackles challenges proactively and confidently.

In her private life, she still feels a close connection to the United States, especially because her daughter was born and raised there. What she misses most in Hamburg is "the beautiful and varied landscape of the USA, characterized by many national parks".
