Since November 1, 2022, Vojislav Jevtic has been new Managing Director of a. hartrodt Germany in Hamburg. The 50-year-old freight forwarding specialist shares the management of the important national subsidiary with Hendrik Khezri (60), who had led the German organization all alone from Frankfurt since September 2021. At Germany's most important seaport, Vojislav Jevtic tends to have more of a sea freight emphasis, while Hendrik Khezri has an air freight focus at Europe's largest cargo airport. However, both Managing Directors decide jointly on all important issues. The spokesman function is assumed by Hendrik Khezri, who has been Managing Director since 2013.

Both Managing Directors complement each other ideally

Hendrik Khezri sees the external new appointment to the management team as an ideal complement to his own 16 years of company service: "Vojislav questions things that are firmly established for me." Vojislav Jevtic contributes more than 30 years of industry experience from medium-sized companies, most recently he was CEO Air & Ocean at NTG Nordic Transport Group. "It appeals to me to help shape the future of a player with a 135-year history," says the Hamburg native.

Investments in sales and sea freight restructuring

The management tandem wants to achieve an even stronger customer focus with a high-quality product customized for medium-sized companies. "We are investing a lot in sales and have hired additional Key Account Managers," reports Hendrik Khezri. This goes hand in hand with a restructuring of the sea freight export division. "We have regionalized sea freight export and now only centralize sea freight import in Hamburg," explains Vojislav Jevtic. "This means that commercial responsibility now belongs to the branch offices, like it does in the export airfreight business," explains Hendrik Khezri. Across Germany, there are twelve offices with almost 500 employees.

For the business development of a. hartrodt Germany, the further expansion of the worldwide network is crucial, both Managing Directors emphasize. Their growth plans include an office in Berlin by 2024 at the latest and acquisitions in Germany.
