For 2025, a. hartrodt has sustainably strengthened its corporate resilience – with the strategic goal of promoting change and a DNA double strand of tradition and innovation. With its global network, the family-owned business is positioning itself as a powerful and reliable growth partner that focuses on its customers. "With our new vision & mission, we can respond to issues in a much more agile and target-oriented manner," says Managing Partner Felix Wenzel. "We are sticking to our values in turbulent times," emphasizes Managing Partner Jan van Tienhoven.

"Willing to take risks for global solutions"

Customized solutions, consistent quality and experienced staff are key to a. hartrodt's success. "We have a large number of customers who have been working with us for many years and with whom we have grown," says Jan van Tienhoven. "We are willing to take risks for global solutions," emphasizes Felix Wenzel. As a result, automotive transports Germany-Mexico or China-Vietnam have been established, as well as Australia-Asia or South America-North America transports for Food & Beverage, for example.

Future technologies and role model in diversity

"Thanks to our determination to perform, we are embracing change and adopting future technologies," explains Felix Wenzel. These include a new Customer Portal and a new Customer Relationship Management system with streamlined processes to significantly improve customer focus. Among other things, a. hartrodt is refining its Global Tracking Portal with automatic reporting: "Following the successful start in sales, we are continuing to expand the operational side," says Felix Wenzel.

Jan van Tienhoven recalls the owner (grand)fathers who have "survived crises" in the company's 138-year history. Today, cross-generational cooperation is based on this: "Although we are constantly making entrepreneurial decisions, we take into account the different perspectives in our teams, because together we are stronger." The F.A.Z. Institute honored a. hartrodt as a role model in diversity.
