With immediate effect, a. hartrodt is expanding its very successful Golden Services in China to the Northeast Asia region. Initially with weekly direct flights, the Golden Koi Service connects Japan and the Golden Tiger Service South Korea with Germany. As at the five established Chinese air cargo hubs, a. hartrodt customers can also use flexible consolidation in Tokyo and Seoul for fast and reliable deliveries to Europe. "We have now developed our product, which was launched in South China and Hong Kong, for the entire growth region," says Laurent Jockel, Business Development Manager North East Asia at a. hartrodt in Hong Kong.

Names – suitable for the country and internationally familiar

Laurent Jockel moved from the German organization in Hamburg to Asia a year ago, his "big wish". He enthusiastically took on the task of finding names for the new Golden Services – suitable for the respective country and at the same time internationally familiar. "The koi carp is also associated with Japanese culture outside Japan," he explains. And the tiger mascot "Hodori" has been world-famous since the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul.

Block space agreements and own pallets

Through block space agreements with various airlines, a. hartrodt reserves fixed capacities on the often highly frequented Northeast Asia–Europe routes. The experienced team builds its own pallets for export shipments at all air cargo hubs in Northeast Asia. The Golden Services also include procurement logistics, order management, customs clearance, just-in-time deliveries and tracking & tracing. "On request, we can also provide the customer with neutralization and distribution services," adds Laurent Jockel.

At its now seven air cargo hubs in Northeast Asia, a. hartrodt is pursuing the goal of further increasing shipment volumes with both local and international customers. Golden Services are available in Beijing (Golden Horse), Guangzhou (Golden Eagle), Hong Kong (Golden Dragon), Seoul (Golden Tiger), Shanghai (Golden Lion), Taipei (Golden Bear) and Tokyo (Golden Koi).
