Starting this month, Kenan Ertürk, based in Shanghai, China, has taken on the role of Regional Sales Manager for a. hartrodt in Northeast Asia. The 41-year-old succeeds Luca Cerruti, who successfully expanded the division over four years before moving to his family’s company in Italy. With a regional sales team of more than 50 people, Kenan Ertürk aims to “win even more business managed from Northeast Asia.” The reason is that Asian companies are expanding internationally: “We want to support these customers early on and grow with them over the long term.” In the region, a. hartrodt has 24 offices in mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, and Korea.
At home in Shanghai for over 14 years

He has lived in Shanghai for over 14 years, where he held management positions at renowned German freight forwarders, including roles in trade management for sea freight as well as sales of air and sea freight. At the end of 2024, he joined a. hartrodt as Sales Manager for Central China.
Renewable Energy, Construction, Mechanical Engineering

Many details must be clarified in advance,” explains Kenan Ertürk. According to him, Chinese acquisitions in Europe are also driving the construction and mechanical engineering industries forward internationally. “Thanks to the close collaboration of our teams in the region, we can respond flexibly to customer requirements,” he emphasizes. The services include both buyer consolidation for various suppliers from Asia and seller consolidation for different recipients in Europe.
In Northeast Asia, Kenan Ertürk is impressed by “the speed at which everything is developing here.” a. hartrodt plans to continue expanding its sales team in the region.
