Jacqui Lee has been in the international freight forwarding and logistics business in New Zealand for more than two decades. She brings with her extensive experience in distribution management from companies of various sizes. The decisive factor for her move to a. hartrodt was the excellent reputation of the family business: "The solid, traditional organization with long-standing, committed employees is exactly what I was looking for."
Auckland and Tauranga are major export ports
The Regional Sales Manager's growth strategy is to identify new markets and regions with the aim of acquiring strategic accounts. According to her, Auckland is "an ideal location to manage regional sales activities" due to its good regional connectivity. In addition to the economically important Bay of Plenty and Waikato regions with agricultural production, there are also major export ports in Auckland and Tauranga nearby. "Along with South Island’s ports we are starting to see economic growth," emphasizes Jacqui Lee. "We offer different transportation routes and carrier options to our customers to ensure the best solution," she says. She also emphasizes customs clearance expertise and consultation on trade compliance.
Jacqui Lee plans to strengthen the sales team for Australia and New Zealand with up to six new hires by the end of the year: "Thanks to our more structured sales approach and clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), customers can expect quicker response times."
