Four sites to boost core business
In Poland, a. hartrodt offers freight forwarding services with 59 employees in Szczecin, Gdynia, Warsaw and Krakow. According to Mieczysław Kołoszycz, sea freight accounts for 51 percent of sales, followed by 26 percent truck transportation plus 5 percent with the company's own fleet and 18 percent air freight. In this core business, he sees opportunities for growth in order to further boost revenue. At the same time, he is pursuing the goal of improving the cost structure.
Focus on the needs of medium-sized customers
"We want to provide more support to medium-sized companies," emphasizes Mieczysław Kołoszycz. Clients of a. hartrodt Polska should benefit from numerous added values in the future. The new Managing Director wants to "respond more quickly to customer needs and increase their satisfaction" by shortening order fulfillment times and improving operational efficiency. Transparent communication should give them a sense of security and strengthen their trust in the services. "I plan to implement training programs for our team in order to constantly improve the quality of service," he says, citing another important point.
