The 40-year-old with a bachelor's degree in logistics management has 16 years of experience in the region. He considers Shenzhen to be an "ideal base" for expanding partnerships with airlines and positioning the company for growth markets: "We are preparing to achieve CEIV certification for lithium batteries in 2025." This is the standard of the International Air Transport Association (IATA). Smith Shi wants to attract new customers with competitive prices.
Flexible emergency staffing during Chinese New Year
According to Smith Shi, the volume of air freight is growing in southern China: "E-commerce plays an important role in regional air freight exports, and the market share is increasing every year." He believes that in 2025, there could be "even more uncertainties in rates and cargo capacity with a major impact on supply chains" due to global crises and risks. Therefore, he recommends planning early, especially before Chinese New Year. "Customers can rely on us to find the best solution," he assures. During the public holidays from January 28 to February 3, 2025, a. hartrodt Shenzhen Logistics will be flexibly available to customers with emergency staffing.
