International Women's Day: Female networks empower the logistics industry

On International Women's Day on March 8, Amaya Teniente, Managing Director of a. hartrodt Chile, states clearly: “There is an incredible level of female talent and expertise driving our industry forward.” She experiences this in her own company and, since the end of 2025, also as a member of WISTA, an international women's network with 6,000 members in the maritime industry. The Women's International Shipping & Trading Association supports female executives in reaching their full potential and has consultative status with the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
