On Thursday, May 28, 2026, a. hartrodt Czech Republic will participate for the third time in the largest logistics event in the Czech Republic, the Eastlog Congress in Prague. “Our stand will be located right at the entrance, just as in previous years,” says John Boelts, Managing Director of a. hartrodt Czech Republic in Prague. Along with him, three sales representatives from the Czech capital and the regional sales manager from Bratislava (Slovakia) are looking forward to talking to many of the more than 700 professional visitors. In the Czech Republic, the family-owned company has traditionally focused heavily on the automotive sector.
Global Tracking Portal for real-time tracking
At Eastlog, a. hartrodt will be presenting its Global Tracking Portal, which enables customers to track air and sea freight shipments in real time. The highest data quality is guaranteed even for complex transport chains with various interfaces, as the system takes hundreds of different sources into account. “Algorithms detect deviations very quickly and update estimated times of arrival (ETA),” says John Boelts.
Speed Dating: One in two companies is interested in collaborating
The a. hartrodt trade fair team wants to specifically target potential air freight and export customers and will once again be participating in the speed-dating meetings. According to John Boelts, half of the participating companies decided to collaborate, in 2025 and 2024. One focus this year will be on better balancing the business, which has so far been more import-oriented. “Since 2025, new airlines with connections to and from China, Asia, and the Middle East have been added at Prague Airport,” he emphasizes. Examples include cargo airlines such as Silk Way West Airlines (Azerbaijan) and Central Airlines (China), as well as Air Arabia (UAE) and Air Atlanta Europe (Malta).
The team at a. hartrodt Czech Republic intends to take advantage of the conference program as an opportunity to learn about logistics trends such as automation, artificial intelligence, robotics, and autonomous systems. “Innovation is a top priority for us,” emphasizes John Boelts.
