Your training at a. hartrodt

Diverse insights: You will be involved in various departments during your training. These include air freight, sea freight, accounting, logistics services, administration, IT, and other areas. This will give you a broad understanding of the entire logistics chain.

    Your daily tasks – What you will learn with us:

    Develop efficient transport solutions and select the best routes for our customers.

    Accompany the entire process – from initial customer contact to successful delivery – you ensure   that everything runs smoothly.

    Learn to manage the entire logistics flow, from storage to customs clearance.

    Advise customers on the best transport options and find solutions that meet their needs.

    You will learn how to calculate transport costs and determine the optimal price for the customer.

    Gain insights into accounting and assist with invoicing and auditing.

    You will support internal and external communication with colleagues and partners, both over the phone and via email.

    You will also help to process incoming and outgoing invoices, gaining insights into accounting and controlling in the process.

    You will assist with document maintenance, filing and database administration.

    You will also be responsible for ordering and managing office supplies, ensuring that everything is ready for daily work.

Internships abroad: Gain international experience while training

Logistics is a global industry, and at a. hartrodt, you will have the opportunity to experience this first-hand. During the second year of your training, you will have the chance to complete a 4- to 8-week internship at one of our overseas branches.
