Low water levels on the Rhine and Danube
Persistently high temperatures and low rainfall are causing water levels on the Rhine and Danube to drop significantly, limiting inland waterway capacity and leading to longer transit times, possible transshipments, and low-water surcharges. We are monitoring the situation closely and reviewing alternatives for affected shipments.
