a. hartrodt France is offering a full time position for an Ocean Import & Export Agent (f/m/d) in Lyon/France. 

This position involves the organisation of import/export ocean transport as well as all related services such as the preparation of information related to customs formalities, pre-transport or post-transport, the establishment of documents or other services necessary to meet the requirements of the client or the country of origin or destination. Your new tasks:

• Complete processing of import/export ocean files
• Follow up on orders with customers
• Organisation of transport with various suppliers (road carriers, shipping lines, etc.)
• Shipment tracking
• Entering data into the digital tools
• Preparation of transport documents and any document relating to the international transport of goods
• Information and coordination with the offices of the international network and the agent network
• Preparation of customs clearance instructions and deliveries
• Preparation of insurance certificates (if requested)
• Billing of files
• Recording and verification of budgets and purchases
• Managing risks and protecting company interests
• Dispute management
• Computer and/or physical classification of files
• All these operations are carried out in compliance with the objectives and procedures
• Application of proactivity, responsiveness and quality of service in the process and in the execution of tasks
• Ability to work in a team
• Fluent English required
• Good interpersonal skills both internally and with customers and suppliers
• Organized, dynamic, motivated, conscientious, proactive, caring, voluntary and a strong sense of teamwork are essential
