Delivery in Singapore

At the end of September, we delivered two giant pumpkins by air freight to Singapore.

The pumpkins, grown in Saxony/Germany, have been ordered for promotional purposes at a well known restaurant chain in Singapore.

After the collection of the pumpkins by our a.hartrodt team in Frankfurt, the pumpkins had to be carefully prepared for their journey up to Southeast Asia. Thermo foil was used to protect the sensitive pumpkins against temperature variations and shocks.

In total we delivered two pallets, 140 x 140 x 125 cm each, with a total weight of 756 kg. One pumpkin had a weight of 401 kg and the other one of 355 kg.

A temperature controlled flight ex FRA up to SIN has been arranged. The required transport temperature was between +2° to +8° C – at all times.

The pumpkins have been delivered safely to the restaurant – well done a. hartrodt Frankfurt and Singapore.
