Food exports from China

The Chinese General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) demands an inspection certificate for all food exports to China in future. It is a completely new certificate which was not necessary for China exports earlier. Currently a certificate is needed for special food-stuffs like meat or milk only.

The effective date of this arrangement should have been October 1st, 2017 already. Meanwhile the AQSIQ declared that there will be a transitional period of two years and the new effective date of the obligation to certificate will be October 1st, 2019.
